The following interscholastic sports are available to students at St. Paul’s:

• Girls Softball, Grades 6-8
• Cross Country, Boys and Girls, Grades 4-8
• Basketball
  • Varsity Boys: Grades 7-8
  • Varsity Girls: Grades 7-8
  • Pee-Wee Boys: Grades 4-6
  • Pee-Wee Girls: Grades 4-6
• Girls Cheerleading
• Girls Varsity Basketball Tournament (October)
• Boys Varsity Basketball Tournament (January)
• Sixth Grade Basketball Tournament (December)
• Girls Volleyball, Grades 5-8

[Currently, some consideration is being given to a soccer team.]

Band & Choirs

Band is available for children in grades 5-8. We are part of a band co-op with the Catholic schools. Band lessons are given at Bishop McNamara High School. The students are then bused to their appropriate schools.

St. Paul has a chime choir that practices weekly and performs at special worship services and events. It is directed by Mrs. Lynda Koeppen and Mrs. Carol Goodwin.

Our chime choir and band students participate in the annual Illinois Elementary School Association competition.

There are vocal choirs for all ages of children. The Cherub Choir is for K-1. Children in grades 2-4 are in the Praise Him Choir. The Contemporary Choir is for students in grades 5-8. Miss Rachel Meyer conducts the Cherub and Praise Him Choirs while Mr. Duane Ferrebee conducts the Contemporary Choir.
